1.3.1.3 Local Copy Configuration (when Backing Up a Hyper-V Virtual Machine)
• Used as both the production server and backup server
• A requester that supports VSS using Hyper-V is installed in the host OS.
• VSSHP is installed in the host OS.
■ Cluster configuration
A disk that is registered as a cluster resource cannot be used for a Shadow Copy destination disk. A
Shadow Copy destination disk must be provided for an active production server and a standby
production server.
